O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant approval of appointment as B.T. Assistant (Science) with effect from 14.09.2012 and to disburse all consequential monetary benefits along with arrears, as the petitioner has passed the TET Paper II Examination conducted on 16.11.2025. 2.This matter earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 30.04.2026. At that time, the learned Additional Government Pleader sought an adjournment to obtain instructions, and accordingly, the matter was adjourned.

3.Today (04.06.2026), when the matter was taken up for consideration, Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the genuineness of the TET qualification acquired by the petitioner is required to be verified, and for that reason, the approval of the petitioner's appointment as B.T. Assistant (Science) has been kept pending.

4.In response, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would approach the second respondent with the original TET qualification certificate and take necessary steps to satisfy the second respondent regarding the genuineness of the said qualification.

5.In the above circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of, permitting the petitioner to approach the second respondent by submitting a representation. Upon such representation, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, either granting approval of the petitioner's appointment as B.T.Assistant (Science) or otherwise, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
