[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed this Writ Petition to direct the second respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Cricket Tournament on 27.08.2017 between 08.00 A.M. and 06.00 P.M at Chinna Mangalakudi Village, Uthankudi Post, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District.

2. When this Writ Petition came up for hearing on 16.08.2017, the learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has not given the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

features in relation to the Cricket Tournament and that was the reason for keeping the matter pending.

3. The petitioner has produced a copy of the features indicating the events on 27.08.2017.

4.We direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.08.2017, on merits and in the light of the document dated 16.08.2017. Such exercise shall be completed on or before 22August-2017. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
