ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondent to conclude the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.28 of 2016.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted a case has been registered by the petitioner against the accused persons with regard to creation of fraudulent fake patta. In this regard, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent Police and an F.I.R was registered in Crime No.28 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 120(b), 420, 465 and 471 I.P.C. Since the respondent Police has not completed the investigation and has not filed a final report, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.28 of 2016. After investigation, the respondent Police found the dispute between the parties are civil in nature and advised them to approach the Civil Court to get appropriate remedies and further action has been dropped. The enquiry report has been submitted to concerned Judicial Magistrate Court on 19.07.2017.
