ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the second respondent not to interfere into the civil dispute and thereby not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2022.

2. The facts of the case are that the petitioner purchased the lands in S.F.Nos.544/1, 544/2, 545/1, 544/2B situated at Kullapapuram Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District on 02.12.2009 through a registered sale deed. The third and fourth respondents encroached the petitioner's land and threatened the petitioner in various manner. They not only encroached the petitioner's land but also gave a false complaint against the petitioner. In such circumstances, the respondent Police frequently called the petitioner for enquiry, thereby, harassing the petitioner. Having no other way, the petitioner preferred a representation dated 09.02.2022 to the respondent Police not to harass him under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the enquiry has been closed and no complaint is pending against the petitioner and thereafter, the respondent Police have not called the petitioner for enquiry.
