ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.433 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on receiving the secret information, on 04.12.2020 at about 09.30 pm the respondent police went to the occurrence place and on seeing the police, the accused persons fled away and the respondent police caught the first accused and recovered 1 Kg of Ganja. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is having two previous cases similar in nature. 5.Considering the allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is having previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
