PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.76 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /A6 who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.04.2023 for the offences under sections 294(b), 450, 397, 506(2) of IPC r/w 3(1) of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.76 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 22.04.2023, at about 09.50 p.m, the accused persons said to have abused the defacto complainant, who is the salesman of the TASMAC Shop and robbed a sum of Rs.6,47,760/-, a gold Ring, cell phones etc., by assaulting him with sword. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

CRL OP(MD). No.9651 of 2023 4.It is seen that the petitioner along with other accused persons said to have robbed a sum of Rs.6,47,760/- from the TASMAC Shop, which is to be deposited in a Bank. It is also seen that no recovery was made and A1 to A4 are still absconding. At this stage, if the petitioner is released bail, he will tamper the witnesses and hamper the investigation, therefore this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of the offence, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
