To issue statutory Notice and punish the respondent under provisions of Contempt of Court Act 1971, for willful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Honourable Court in WP. No. 3056/2013 dated 26.03.2013.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified 1/3
Mandamus, to call for the impugned order passed by the 3rd Respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. A-2(1)/26187/2012 dated 22.01.2013 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Grade II Police Constable in the Common Recruitment of Grade II Police Constables/Grade II Jail Warders/Firemen 2012.
ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.V.MUNIASAMY, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.VEERA KATHIRAVAN, Additional Advocate General for MR.D.GANDHIRAJ, Special Government Pleader on behalf of the Respondents, the court made the following order:- This is a petition to re-open the contempt petition in Cont.P. (MD).No.360 of 2014 for issuing statutory notice to the contemnors/respondents.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.Veera Kathiravan, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents assisted by Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, submitted that the petitioner had been appointed as GradeII Constable and is undergoing training. The copy of the appointment order is also produced before this Court for perusal.
3. Considering the fact that the petitioner had been appointed as Grade-II Constable and undergoing training, this Court is of the view that nothing survives in this petition and it is not necessary to re-open the contempt petition.
4. In this view of the matter, the Sub Application is dismissed as not necessary.
