O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The writ petitioner seeks a direction for grant of permission using loud speaker and for the procession to be held on 27.08.2017 in connection Vinayakar Chathurthi Festival in Sambavar Vadakarai Village, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2.The writ petitioner has already given representation dated 21.07.2017 in this regard. But, the respondent has not passed any orders thereon. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Since the festival falls on 25.08.2017, this Court cannot pass a direction for consideration of the representation by the respondent.

5.We therefore direct the respondent to grant permission as sought for by the writ petitioner. It is open to the respondent to incorporate such conditions as he deems fit to ensure peaceful and smooth conduct of the event in question.

6.The writ petition is allowed with above direction. No costs.
