2.The petitioner's grandfather is said to have passed away on 11.02.1944. The petitioner wants to register the same with the respondent.

3.Without going into the merits of the matter, I direct the respondent to dispose of the petition mentioned application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
