ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the third respondent, pursuant to the impugned order passed by him in his proceedings C.No.R2/150/2017, dated 01.08.2017, to quash https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the same and consequently, direct the respondents to reserve one post of Combined Recruitment of Grade-II Police Constables/GradeII Jail Warders/Fireman-2017 for the petitioner. 2.The impugned order has been questioned on the ground that during physical efficiency test, the petitioner's height had not been measured properly and as per the notification, the minimum height required for SC candidates is 157 cms and as per the Doctor Certificate, dated 03.08.2017, her original height is 157 cms but, on the date of physical measurement test, the third respondent and his subordinate officers found the petitioner disqualified on the ground that she is having only 156 cms, therefore, the impugned order is liable to be set aside.
3.Considering the said submission, this Court directed the learned Additional Advocate General to produce the videographs taken during selection to the aforementioned posts. 4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the videogrpahs in respect of height measurement of the petitioner has been displayed before this Court in the presence of the petitioner and her counsel. The video clipping/recording shows that the petitioner has failed to possess minimum 157 cms of height required for SC candidates, whereas her height is 156 cms, hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer of the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
