PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.37 of 2020 dated 04.09.2020 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition is filed to issue a direction directing the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.37 of 2020 dated 04.09.2020 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report within a time stipulated by this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.37 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406 of IPC, Section 4 of TNPWH Act and Sections 3(1), 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report was filed before the learned Additional Mahila Court, Nagarcoil and same has not been taken on file sofar.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Additional Mahila Court, Nagarcoil to process the report submitted by the respondent as per the rules and take the same on file. The compliance Report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.
