ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent herein to redeploy the petitioner from Koodakovil Nadar Higher secondary School, Koodakovil, Thirumangalam, Madurai District to Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Higher Secondary School, Theppakulam or M.A.V.M.M.Higher Secondary School, Yanakkal or Savitha Bhai (Kovai) Higher Secondary School, Thirunagar in the post of Physical Education Teacher by considering the petitioner representation dated 03.06.2024.

2. Heard Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the school, where he has been originally working had vacancies in the same post, but for the deployment done on the ground of surplus, the petitioner would not have been disturbed from the said school.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner learnt that the earlier school is going to fill up the post of Physical Education Teacher and hence, a representation has been given to redeploy him to the same school.

6. Since the petitioner has been disturbed only because of surplus in the original school, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider his representation dated 03.06.2024 and pass orders before the vacancy is 3/5

filled up through fresh appointment in the said school.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
