PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.18 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who was arrested on 15.07.2021, for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC @ 406, 420 and 120 (B) IPC in Crime No.18/2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons in this case has collected money from several persons as if they would arrange job in various departments. Hence, the case.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent, he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution, but he has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.11221 of 2021 The first accused in this case pretended that she is having contact with several Ministers and other department officials and has collected money from several persons by promising that she would arrange job in various departments. Believing the words of the first accused, several persons have paid money. The specific allegation as against this petitioner is that some of the victims in this case have deposited money in this petitioner's account which has been handed over to the first accused. It shows that there is a clear nexus between the petitioner and the first accused in this case and hence, he opposed for grant of bail to this petitioner.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the serious nature of offence committed by this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
