Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to sanction the pensionary benefits to the petitioner from the retirement by calculating the petitioner's service from the petitioner's original date of appointment on 07.02.1958 with arrears in the light of judgment of this Court in the case of A.P.Srivastava Vs Union of India and others reported in 1996 (1) LLJ 241 and on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 28.07.2017.
