Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to put up "Sudalai Madaswamy Idol" in petitioner's land in S.No.570/13 in Keela Puthalam, Puthalam village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District.

ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission to put up "Sudalai Madaswamy Idol" in the petitioner's land in S.No.570/13 in Keela Puthalam, Puthalam village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District, 18.10.2016. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2017.

4.In the light of the above said submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
