Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to renew Brick Klin the license granted to the petitioner from 05.07.2017 to 04.07.2019 by considering the application of the petitioner dated 31.07.2017 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to renew Brick Klin licence based on his representation dated 31.07.2017.

2.Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would state that he started a Bricks Klin Unit in the year 2015, after obtaining licence from the respondents. The registration certificate issued in the year 2015 is valid upto 04.07.2016. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an application for renewal of the licence on 31.07.2017. 4.In the light of the above facts, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 31.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
