PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order passed by the 5th respondent in his proceedings in T.R.2022/0103/30/470568TR dated 04.05.2022 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents 3 to 5 to restore patta in the name of the petitioner's father viz., Peter Alezander qua the land to an extent of 10 cents comprised in S.No. 589/2, Inayamputhanthurai village, Killiyur taluk, Kanniyakumari District.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the 5th respondent in his proceedings in T.R.2022/0103/30/470568TR dated 04.05.2022 and for a direction to the respondents 3 to 5 to restore patta in the name of the petitioner's father viz., Peter Alezander qua the land to an extent of 10 cents comprised in S.No. 589/2, Inayamputhanthurai village, Killiyur taluk, Kanniyakumari District 2/5
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and the learned counsel for the 6th respondent.
3. It is informed that the suit is pending in OS No.64 of 2024 on the file of the District and Sessions Court, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil, with respect to the issues in the present writ petition.
4. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of requesting the trial court to dispose of the suit at the earliest, preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
