ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed directing the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.93 of 2021 dated 26.02.2021 on the file of the respondent and file the final report.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was cheated by his wife, namely, Kaviya under the guise of marriage. The parents of the petitioner's wife was not their actual parents and all of them joined together and had played a fraud upon the petitioner in the name of marriage. Hence, the petitioner preferred a complaint against his wife namely, Kaviya and others. Based on the said complaint, an F.I.R was registered in Crime No.93 of 2021 dated 26.02.2021. Since the respondent Police has not completed the investigation and has not filed a final report, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police 2/4

registered an FIR in Crime No.93 of 2021 and for the same, investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
