ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to notify the same in the Official Gazette, as per clause VI-A of the Modification issued in G.O.Ms.No.113 dated 04.03.2026 and to grant proceedings in respect of the route from Nadupatti Samathuvapuram to Chathiram Bus Stand via Panjappur Bus Stand forthwith.
2.Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the material records of the case, the grievance of the petitioner is that, pursuant to the application of the petitioner, the Regional Transport Officer has already conducted an inspection and submitted a report. It is for 2/5
the first respondent, being the Regional Transport Authority, to pass orders thereon and notify the same in the Official Gazette, granting the permit to the petitioner in respect of the route claimed. 3.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, would submit that the application is under process and that the authority has called for a report from the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation. It is further submitted that, upon receipt of the said report, final orders will be passed in accordance with law.
4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:
The request of the petitioner, along with the report pertaining to the route prayed for by the petitioner, shall be taken up for consideration and final orders shall be passed by the first respondent in accordance 3/5
with law as expeditiously as possible and in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order. No costs.
