Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., directing the second Respondent to provide Police protection to life and limb of the Petitioner and her family from the third and fourth respondents. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent to provide Police protection to life and limb of the Petitioner and her family from the third and fourth respondents.

2. The facts of the case are that the third and fourth respondents borrowed the money from the petitioner and failed to repay it. When the petitioner asked about the money, the third and fourth respondents did not give proper reply and they also made a false complaint against the petitioner. In addition to this, the third and fourth respondents threatened the petitioner and her family members in various manner. Having no other way, the petitioner preferred a complaint dated 28.06.2022 to the respondent Police. Since no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that having received the complaint, the respondent Police issued CSR receipt in C.S.R.No.245 of 2022 and the enquiry is under process. 2/4

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the respondent Police to provide sufficient protection by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2022 and take suitable action on merits as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
