Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to change the classification of land in S.No.1032/7 to an extent of 0.663.0 sqr.Mts in Karaikudi Town and Taluk, Sivagangai District and consequently allocate the lands for construction of Library and lawyers chambers within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to change the classification of land in S.No.1032/7 to an extent of 0.663.0 sqr.mts in Karaikudi Town and Taluk, Sivagangai District and consequently allocate the lands for construction of Library and Lawyers Chambers within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2017.

4.In light of the above submission, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
