ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.970 of 2021 1/4

on the file of the respondent police within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in the FIR in Crime No. 970 of 2021, which was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 447, 294(b), 427, 506(i) of IPC on 29.08.2021. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2021, so far no final report has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that investigation in this case has been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Aranthangi, on15.02.2022, but the same was not taken on file so far. 4.Since the final report has been filed before the concerned Court the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. There shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, to process the final report and take the same on file as per the Rules prescribed. 2/4

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
