O R D E R

The petitioner/defacto complainant in Crime No.58 of 2010 has approached this Court, seeking a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible. 1/4

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that the case is pertaining to land grabbing issue and therefore, due to pendency of several litigations before the Courts, the final report has now been filed and the same was taken on file in CC No. 1405 of 2023 by the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Tirunelveli. 3.This Court considered the rival submissions made by either side.

4.The case is of the year 2010. It appears that due to certain practical difficulties, the final report has not been filed in time. Now it is reported that the final report has been filed and the case in CC No.1405 of 2023 is posted to 25.07.2024 for the appearance of the accused. Since the case is of the year 2010, the trial Court is expected to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
