This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorari to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings, dated 20.04.2026, issued by the fourth respondent and to quash the same.

2. By the impugned proceedings, approval granted in favour of the petitioner as Correspondent of Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School was withdrawn and the said Institute was taken over under the direct payment method.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration for admission, Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4, brought to the notice of this Court that the impugned proceedings has been withdrawn by the fourth respondent himself vide proceedings bearing Na.Ka.No.08341/A1/2025, dated 27.04.2026 and a copy of the same is also produced before this Court.

4. A perusal of the proceedings dated 27.04.2026, issued by the fourth respondent, indicates that in the place of the petitioner, yet another person was appointed as Correspondent of the said Institution by the Management and the said appointment was also approved by the fourth respondent. In the said circumstances, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. In case if the petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings of the fourth respondent dated 27.04.2026, it is open for him to take appropriate steps. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 28.04.2026 NCC :
