Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to disburse the compensation amount payable to the petitioner for the property acquired by him in Survey No.132/2 measuring about 1.90 acres situated at Arasappapillaipatti, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2017. ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to disburse the compensation amount payable to the petitioner for the property acquired by the respondents in Survey No.132/2 measuring about 1.90 acres situated at Arasappapillaipatti, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2017. 2.Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The petitioner would state that lands to an extent of 1.90 acres belonging to the petitioner situated at Arasappapillaipatti,
Oddanchatram Taluk in Survey No.132/2 were acquired by the respondents for formation of road in the year 2010. 4.The petitioner would further state that though the possession of the lands was taken by the respondents in the year 2010, but so far the petitioner was not paid compensation. Hence, she sent a representation on 10.05.2017. Since no favourable order was passed, this present writ petition. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
