Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose application dated 11.01.2016 given by the petitioner in respect of lands S.No.72/2, sub division No.72/2 E situated in Vetriyur village & Group, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to dispose application dated 11.01.2016.
2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner claims to have purchased the property through a registered sale deed dated 25.10.2010 from one Mohammed Sheriff. His son, namely, M.S.Sheik Mohammed Abdullah filed a suit in O.S.No.20 of 2011 seeking partition. The said suit was decreed on 05.11.2012. However, the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the District Court, Sivagangai in A.S.No.5 of 2013 was allowed by a judgment and decree dated 07.04.2014. Subsequently, the petitioner filed an application before the second respondent for transfer of patta. Since no favourable order was passed, the present writ petition.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
