Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner after rendering 20 years of service in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation [Coimbatore] Limited, Erode Region, Palani II Branch, retired from service on 31.10.2011 as Special Grade Conductor.

He made a representation dated 17.07.2017, to the respondents demanding interest on the belated payment of Rs.3,67,135/- towards gratuity and Rs.3,10,931/- towards Provident Fund. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3.The learned standing counsel for the respondents submitted that the Corporation would consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 17.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Recording the abovesaid submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.07.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
