The petitioner filed the writ petition to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner, dated 27.07.2017 and 04.08.2017 respectively. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. According to the petitioner, he has filed a police complaint against the fourth respondent for assaulting the

petitioner. Even though a crime case been registered on 17.07.2017, the grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent did not conduct any investigation on his complaint. Hence, he made a representation to the higher authorities to direct the third respondent to conduct investigation.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the investigation is in progress and seeks two months time to complete the investigation and to file a final report.

4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and complete the same and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
