ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to measure the land, as per the application dated 31.07.2017. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would claim, he along with his friend, by name, Sundar purchased the lands to an extent of 8 acres 8 cents at Mudhukulam Village, Kantharvakkottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District through registered sale deeds dated 02.11.2006 and 13.07.2006. One Kalimuthu instituted a suit in O.S.No.123 of 2008 before the District Munsif Court, Pudukkottai claiming right over the property. The said suit was dismissed, after contest. 4.The petitioner would further state that he has submitted an application on 31.07.2017, after paying necessary charges, to measure his property. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 31.07.2017 and take necessary action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
