Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.LAWRANCE, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition No.7(c) imposed by this Court, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19686 of 2024 dated 04.01.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at the time of granting 1/3

anticipatory bail, the petitioner and others were directed to deposit a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- each to the credit of Crime No.28 of 2023 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai. But, the petitioner was not able to arrange the said amount as directed by this Court, hence, he filed this petition to modify the above said condition.

3. Considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed and the condition No.7(c) is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs only) to the credit of Crime No.28 of 2023 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, without prejudice to his rights and contentions. sd/- 03/07/2024 / TRUE COPY / /07/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.
