Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order, dated 09.08.2017 in C.No.R2/150/2017 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to conduct a fresh efficiency test for the petitioner (Enrolment Number.7404453) for the Post of Grade-II constable, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board 2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Advocate General assisted by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. This Writ Petition has been filed questioning the correctness of the impugned disqualification slip, dated 09.08.2017, holding that she was disqualified in the long jump event on the ground that except stating the word 'long jump', nowhere, any reason has been assigned for disqualification.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner being a woman candidate shall be given second chance to prove her efficiency, as there is no Government servant in her family.
5.The learned Additional Advocate General Assisted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, by producing copies of Coding Sheet and Lapse Sheet signed by the petitioner, submitted that clear reason has been assigned for disqualification, since she committed foul play, while participating the long jump event.
6. A perusal of the lapse sheet shows that the petitioner found ineligible, as she had committed foul play in the long jump event. Therefore, this Court is not able to find any merit in this Writ Petition.
7. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(Writs) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar.
