By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.This writ petition has been filed challenging the disqualification slip made by the respondents vide impugned order dated 05.08.2017 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to conduct a fresh long jump efficiency test for the petitioner for the post of Grade II Constable, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board 2017.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned Additional Advocate General Assisted by the Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, by

producing the lapse sheet, clearly shows that when she was given first chance, she was able to jump only 1.85 meters. Again she was given second chance, but she was not able to come nearer to the requisite mark, since she has jumped only 1.95 meters only.

4. A perusal of the lapse sheet clearly shows that the petitioner has jumped only 1.85 meters in the first chance and in the second chance, she jumped 1.95 meters. Therefore, the disqualification slip issued against the petitioner can never be questioned and the same is liable to be dismissed.

5. At this juncutre, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the date of physical efficiency test, the petitioner has suffered an injury, as a result of which, she was not able to actively participate in the long jump. This Court is not able to accept the said contention of the petitioner, as the said injury has occurred because of her fault.

6. With the above observation, the writ petition is dismissed.

No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
