ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to change the date of birth of the petitioner in 10th Standard (SSLC) and 12th Standard (HSC) certificates as 16.08.1998 instead of 29.05.1997 as per the birth certificate issued by the Srivilliputhur Municipality.

2.The learned Government appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's request was considered and an enquiry is going on and now, the papers are pending before the 2nd respondent for further enquiry. 3.This Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case is directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's case in light of the birth certificate issued by the Srivilliputhur Municipality within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
