The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to approve the appointment of one Gnana Bharathi in the post of Junior Assistant with effect from 09.09.2020 by considering the petitioner's proposal dated 28.09.2020.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner School submitted that the petitioner sent a proposal for approval of appointment of one Gnana Bharathi in the post of Junior Assistant with effect from 09.09.2020 to the second respondent on 28.09.2020. The second respondent forwarded the

proposal to the first respondent on 30.12.2020. Despite completion of more than 1 1⁄2 years from the date of sending the proposal, the proposal for approval has not been granted so far. Therefore, this petition.

3. Mr.V.Nirmal Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and submits that the said Gnana Bharathi was appointed as Junior Assistant in a sanctioned vacancy and there is no impediment for approval of his appointment.

4. Considering the submissions that the said Gnana Bharathi was appointed as Junior Assistant in the approved vacancy, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the approval forwarded by the second respondent on 30.12.2020 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 15.07.2022 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No vji To
