PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to participate in the Chariot festival and rotate the white Towel and Provide necessary protection to conduct the "Chariot Festival" Programme going to be held on 06.06.2023 at 07.15 am., to 11.00 am., in the Vaikasi festival of Arulmighy Jennakai Mariamman Temple, Sholavandhan, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 01.05.2023 and 31.05.2023. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 01.05.2023 and 31.05.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 01.05.2023 and 31.05.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording a reasonable opportunities to the petitioner and all interested parties.
4. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
