J U D G M E N T

[Judgment of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] Challenge in this writ appeal is to the order dated 05.08.2022, passed in W.P.(MD) No.7141 of 2022, by the Writ Court.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants fairly stated before this Court that a Similar Writ Appeal came up for consideration before this Court in W.A.(MD) No.310 of 2023, dated 27.03.2023 (in the matter of the Commissioner of Land Administration v. A.Xavier), and this Court considered the points raised by the parties elaborately and dismissed

the Writ Appeal and the same was also confirmed by the Hon'ble Apex Court by order dated 10.07.2023 in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No.13168 of 2023.

3. In the light of the judgment of this Court in W.A.(MD) No.310 of 2023, dated 27.03.2023, the Writ Appeal is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
