ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner had given an application before the second respondent on 07.09.2020 calling upon the authority to register the death of her father. Since intimation was given belatedly, in the very nature of things there has to be an adjudication. Since the petitioner's request was not processed, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that one Muthumani had lodged objection. 4.Merely because an objection had been lodged, the second respondent cannot keep the petitioner's application pending. The second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass final order after hearing both the parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
