ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to issue legal heir certificate, based on the application dated 02.06.2017.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would state that his father, namely, P.Perumal died on 27.05.1988 leaving behind the petitioner and other legal heirs. Though the respondent issued Death Certificate on 02.06.2017, the application filed by the petitioner for issuance of legal heir certificate was not considered, hence, the present writ petition.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 02.06.2017 and take necessary action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
