ORDER
Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner is serving as Special Revenue Inspector in the office of the Special Tahsildar, Town Settlement, Taluk Office, Virudhunagar. Her name has also been included in the approved list of Assistant of the year 2013, drawn by the District Revenue Officer, in his Proceedings No.PDL.A2/31/13, dated 29.04.2013 and her serial number was '8'. Whereas, the name of one G.Sakthivel, who was junior to the petitioner and placed at Serial No.20, was considered for promotion overlooking the petitioner's seniority and no reason has been mentioned for such overlooking. Therefore, a representation has been given by the petitioner on 11.07.2017 to the District Revenue Officer for posting her as Firka Revenue Inspector following the original seniority. But, the same has not been considered by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondents, therefore, she has been advised to come to this Court for a direction to the respondents to dispose of her representation, dated 11.07.2017.
3.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.07.2017, will be considered in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.07.2017, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
