The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to provide destitute widow monthly pension to her. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would claim that she belongs to economically weaker section and her husband died on 02.07.2009. The petitioner has no issues. Due to financial sufferings, she approached the respondents for issuance of pension and also submitted a representation dated 15.08.2017. Since no favourable order was passed, the present writ petition.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the

matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
