PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakkottai, Dindigul District to expedite the proceedings in CC No.317 of 2017 and to dispose of the same on merits within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filedto direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakkottai, Dindigul District to expedite the proceedings in CC No.317 of 2017 and to dispose of the same on merits within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that inspite of repeated directions issued by this Court in the earlier proceedings in Crl.O.P(MD) No.3927 of 2021, the case in CC No.317 of 2017 was not disposed of on merits so far. He would further submit that the concerned Court is entertaining the repeated petitions filed by the accused persons.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after completion of trial, the case is adjourned to 31.08.2021 for pronouncement of Judgment.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the case is posted for pronouncement of Judgment, nothing survives for further direction in this petition. Crl.O.P(MD).No.12016 of 2021 shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakkottai, Dindigul District to dispose the matter on the date fixed by the Court, without further adjourning the matter without proper and valid reasons.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
