Kalaiselvi Vs. The District Collector and 3 others within a time limit as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner was granted assignment of the petition mentioned land way back on 28.12.2007. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date in the system, the survey number has been blocked. As a result, the petitioner is not able to enjoy the fruits of assignment. The petitioner has submitted an application in this regard before the third respondent. The third respondent issued notice on 23.09.2021. But then nothing transpired thereafter. That led to filing of this writ petition.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that enquiry in this regard is pending before the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk, Chennai since 2013. 2/4

3. The petitioner is permitted to submit a proper representation to the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk, Chennai setting out his grievance. The Commissioner of Land Administration shall take up the petitioner's representation along with other applications and give a disposal within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. If the petitioner had been granted assignment by the competent authority and if there is no other legal impediment, the Commissioner of Land Administration shall issue direction for removing the block complained of by the petitioner.
