O R D E R
This Writ Petition has become infructuous after an order came to be passed in a earlier proceedings initiated by the petitioner in W.P.(MD).No. 20786 of 2023, which came to be ordered by this Court on 28.08.2023. However, the petitioner moved this present Writ Petition which came up for hearing on 03.01.2024 on which date this Court had declined the permission to withdraw the Writ Petition.

2. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.(MD).No.174 of 2024 against the order passed by the learned single Judge on 30.01.2024. The Hon'ble Division Bench has granted an order of interim stay for a period of four weeks.
3. In my view, there is no point in keeping the present Writ Petition alive, when the petitioner itself is not keen on pursuing the remedy sought for. That apart pursuant to the order passed by the Court in W.P.(MD).No. 20786 of 2023 on 20.08.2023 Hon'ble Mr.Justice Ramanathan and Hon'ble Mr.Justice A.Selvam retired judges of this High Court have been appointed to take steps to regularize the encroachments made by the various respondents.
In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
