The petitioners seek for quash of the FIR in Crime No.559 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that in view of the limitations encountered in filing the charge sheet, the case in Crl.M.P.No.18442 of 2024 has been closed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoothukudi, on 02.08.2025. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication.
