ORDER

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that the respondent requires four months time to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate. It is seen that the FIR was registered as early as on 04.08.2016. Even for registering the FIR, the petitioner had to file Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15095 of 2014. 2.Taking note of these circumstances, this Court directs the respondent to file final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This criminal original petition is disposed of on these terms. It is made clear that after the final report is filed, the Jurisdictional Magistrate will take an expeditious decision with regard to taking cognizance of the offences in question. It is also made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.
