ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition for a direction to the 1st respondent to comply with the order in CrlMP(MD)No.3130 of 2023 dated 06.10.2023 passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) on instructions submits that the complaint of this petitioner has been registered in Crime No.119 of 2025 on 04.06.2025.

3.It appears that the complaint of the petitioner was forwarded in the year 2023 by the learned Judicial Magistrate and only in the year 2025 a case has been registered. It is not known as to how the respondent police would conduct investigation, when the case itself is registered belatedly, despite the orders of the Judicial Magistrate. Therefore, the 1st respondent is directed to withdraw the case in crime No.119 of 2025 from the file of the 2nd respondent police and entrust it with a responsible police officer. The 1st respondent is also directed to take appropriate action as against the police officers concerned, who are responsible for not registering the case for more than 1 1⁄2 years. 2/4
