ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 23.02.2017 and rectify the errors occurred in UDR patta regarding the property comprised in Survey Nos.115B/10, 115B/13, 115B/9, 115B/9A, 120A/1 & 120B/11 situated in Muthakurichi Village, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District.

2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner would claim that he inherited the lands in Survey Nos. 115B/10, 115B/13, 115B/9, 115B/9A, 120A/1 & 120B/11 from his father. As such, he has been in possession and enjoyment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the same.

4. The petitioner would allege that under UDR scheme in respect of Survey Nos.120A/1 & 120B/11, the third parties' name were wrongly included and in respect of other survey numbers, extent was wrongly given.

Hence, the petitioner gave a representation dated 14.08.2007 to the first respondent to rectify the said mistake.

5.The petitioner would state that the third respondent vide his communication dated 07.06.2017 informed the petitioner that he will inspect the property on 15.06.2017. The petitioner was waiting for officers. But no officials have come to the spot as informed. Hence, he gave another representation dated 23.02.2017. Even thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

6.In the light of the above facts, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.02.2017 and take necessary action, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
