O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to conduct the consecration ceremony in Arulmigu Sri Mariamman, Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman, Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar and Arulmigu Sri Karupannasamy Temple situated in D.Gudalur, Gujiliyamparai Taluk, Dindigul District from 07.06.2023 at 08.00 a.m till 08.06.2023 at 12.00 p.m by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2023.

Mr.Gomathi Sankar, proposed to file a vakalath for the third respondent and he has also made an objection to conduct the above said consecration by the petitioner stating that he is also claiming rival of Oor-Gounder right, at the time of the consecration of the temple festival. Even though his request in W.P(MD).No.9281 of 2022 was rejected by this Court on 05.05.2011, still there is a possibility of settlement in peace committee meeting if ordered to be held, he would submit. 2/5

The second respondent is present before this Court and he has stated that the representation has been made on 29.05.2023, seeking permission and police protection, which is kept pending, on the ground that the objection is made by the third respondent to grant the permission to the petitioner for conducting the above said event.

4. Already the request made by the third respondent was rejected by this Court as noted above. In this petition, if this Court orders for the Peace Committee Meeting, it will amount to violating the order that has been passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. So such sort of exercise cannot be ordered either by this Court or by the second respondent herein.

5. Let the representation made by the petitioner be disposed of immediately by granting permission. If the third respondent wants to participate in the above said event, the learned counsel for the petitioner is also wholeheartedly welcoming him to participate in the above said event in a good will manner.
