ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Mangayarkarasi, aged 21 years went missing from 21.06.2022 and that police are not taking effective steps to secure her.
2. Today, Mr.Ravichandran, Head Constable, Sakkottai Police Station is present.
3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry in Sakkottai Police Station Crime No.342/2022 was registered and during the course of enquiry, it came to light that Mangayarkarasi was in love with the third respondent and had eloped with him. Since Mangayarkarasi is not a juvenile, it cannot be stated that she is in the illegal custody of the third respondent. Hence, this petition is closed.
