J U D G M E N T

[Judgment of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This writ appeal is directed against the order of the learned Single Judge, dated 05.08.2022, passed in W.P.(MD) No.7140 of 2022.

2. Mr.T.Amjadkhan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the appellants, submitted that in a similar matter, the Government filed an appeal in W.A.(MD).No.310 of 2023 and this Court by Judgment dated 27.03.2023 had dismissed the said writ appeal. The said dismissal of the writ appeal was challenged before the Honourable Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) No. 13168 of 2023 and the same was also dismissed by the Apex Court by order dated 10.07.2023.

3. In the light of the aforesaid decision of the Division Bench of this Court as well as the Honourable Supreme Court of India, no further adjudication is required in this writ appeal. Accordingly, the present writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
